Yin & Yang

Yin and Yang are the dual concepts and halves of completeness and wholeness. Everything is nature contains each aspect, and Yin and Yang are interdependent as each are the beginning for the other. When one aspect increases, the other decreases, though balance and equilibrium between the two is the ideal. Neither is superior or preferable to the other, Yin and Yang are the unified, dynamic, and harmonized natural form and flow of energy. Qi, or chi, is the life source arising from the interplay of Yin and Yang, where Qi is Yang, and Jing, the essence of internal energy, is Yin.
