The national gemstone of Germany is the Aquamarine. The Dom Pedro Aquamarine is the largest faceted Aquamarine in the world, and it was cut in Idar-Oberstein, Germany in 1992 by renowned German artist and master fantasy lapidarist Bernd Munsteiner.
AQUAMARINE is a Stone of Empowerment and of eternal youth and happiness. Aquamarine can be used as a gateway crystal to the Divine Feminine, both within the self, and in outer manifestations. It evokes calm, inspires truth, trust, and letting go. Aquamarine opens the channels of clear and heartfelt communication, and becomes a mirror, making it possible to discover hidden meanings of reality, and allows us to explore the darkest depths of our souls, face to face with ourselves, and with others. It helps in the realization that not all power comes from force, and teaches there is also power in aligning with the yielding, resilient vitality of life, and in promoting truthful and compassionate communication. Aquamarine encourages the ideal of service to the world and to the development of a humanity attuned to healing. It emits a gentle and compassionate energy, promoting moderation and responsibility for ones' actions. It inspires judgmental people to be more tolerant, and helps those overwhelmed by responsibility to find order. A stone of natural justice, Aquamarine utilizes compromise and negotiation, and gives quiet courage and clear reasoned words in confrontational situations.

Caring for Your Jewellery
Scot & Saxon sources AAA and higher quality crystals and gemstones. All beads and pendants are handcrafted, therefore, there may be slight variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics in the crystals that are unique and individual to each piece. These characteristics are considered part of the character of the item, and are not considered a defect. Scot & Saxon jewellery is delicate. Please do not allow your pieces to get wet, wear while exercising, or wear while sleeping. Protect your jewellery from scratches and tarnish by storing in the velvet bag. Polish your jewellery frequently with a soft cloth to maintain its original finish. Put your jewellery on last when dressing, and gently take off first when undressing. Protect your jewellery from impact against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. Avoid contact with water.
Sterling Silver is composed of .925 pure Silver and plated with a thin layer of pure Silver. Silver tarnishes with prolonged exposure to oxygen, which may quicken if the Silver is near salt water or products containing sulfur. While Sterling Silver beads are of an extremely high quality, they may fade if worn carelessly or scratched deeply.
24k Vermeil Gold
24k Vermeil Gold is plated over .925 Sterling Silver. Using a nickel-free process, the Silver is plated with 1 micron of 18K Gold for strength, and then followed by 2 microns of 24k Gold. Vermeil Gold may show signs of tarnish if left in the open air. While Vermeil Gold beads are of an extremely high quality, they may fade if worn carelessly or scratched deeply.
When Crystal Jewellery or a Mala Breaks
Owning crystal jewellery or a mala is a lesson in and of its own, of learning to let go and release in order to grow. Scot & Saxon jewellery is intended to be worn on a regular basis, which is another reason why care must be taken to ensure they remain in excellent condition long term. A broken crystal jewellery piece or mala symbolizes a broken cycle in your life. It means you have learned an important lesson or cleared a karmic cycle. You don't 'need' that particular crystal, which resonated with you when you needed it, anymore. A broken crystal jewellery piece or mala is a sign that it's time to bring new intentions into your life as you have outgrown the current one. It is said when crystal jewellery or mala breaks you are not supposed to fix it. Instead, you collect the beads and pieces and place them in a place that is special for you; the crystals still work, so keep them nearby for their energetic benefits. You are now ready for the next step, with new lessons and more karma to clear to continue your personal growth, and it is time to connect with and choose a new crystal. This being said, it is understandable that you may feel compelled to preserve your investment. You may request a re-stringing for $50 if you would like your piece restored.
